'Tis the season for...BAM BAM BALL!

This Sunday was Izaac's first practice for his bam bam ball team. He is playing for the Phillies for the next six weeks. It will be a huge learning experience for him since he has never played for an organized team.

Izaac is the youngest on his team (three going on four in a few weeks) while his other teammates are four going on five. During his practice, Izaac was a little unsure of what to do. If there was one thing he was sure of and that is batting!

The idea of bam bam ball is similar to tee-ball only there is a larger, softer ball used. The coaches worked on batting, catching, throwing, and running for the first practice.

Izaac finished the practice with a run around the bases, a Sunny D, and some fruit snacks. He is eager for his practice this Thursday before his big game Saturday morning.
